Tampa International Airport Police Department (TPAPD) Citizen Tour Program
The TPAPD Citizen Tour Program is designed to give community members a unique opportunity to learn more about police operations at Tampa International Airport. Participants will gain insight into the daily responsibilities of TPAPD officers and experience limited, structured participation in airport law enforcement activities.
This program promotes education, awareness, and communication between the police department and the community.
Who Can Participate
- Open to community members, including students
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Applications are limited to once per year unless otherwise approved by the Vice President of Public Safety & Security

Applicants will be contacted by TPAPD personnel to arrange a tour date and time.
Application Process
- Final approval of applicants is at the discretion of the Vice President of Public Safety & Security
- If approved, applicants will be provided with the TPAPD Citizen Tour Application form
- Completed applications must include:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Last four digits of Social Security Number
- Emergency Contact Information
- Reason for request (e.g., civic or educational)

- Incomplete applications will not be processed
