Airport Police Department Employment
The Tampa International Airport Police Department is committed to providing professional law enforcement services to the over 19 million annual passengers, as well as the thousands of employees and guests who use the airport every day. The Department emphasizes the continual development of skills and expanded knowledge through focused training while valuing the spirit of teamwork and commitment to duty.
TIAPD offers opportunities in all areas of police work including: Criminal Investigations, K-9 Unit, Professional Standards Unit, Uniform Patrol, Bike Squad, and Field Training.
Recruiting and employment for the TIAPD is handled through Tampa International Airport Human Resources and the Airport Police Professional Standards Unit.
