AVIATION SUPPORT POSITIONS

Working closely with the Airline ticket counter agents. Assist with verifying that luggage is properly secured and delivered to the main terminal. Transfer luggage in and out of cargo vans/trucks. Loading passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt.
Lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft. On-time operations by guiding aircraft from the gate. Safely driving and operating ground equipment in areas of congestion.
Critical role in keeping cargo, packages and aircraft moving safely and on time. Leader of Ramp Agents teams and in charge of flights. Facilitating the processes of loading and unloading of containers from aircraft and warehouse, and sorting /scanning packages.
Perform Electronic check-in of passengers, assign passenger seats. Match manifest to on-board count. Connect Jetway, Assist with baggage tags and baggage claim reports. Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during designated shift.
Responsible for fueling and servicing of aircraft and the safe and efficient operation of equipment used in fueling aircraft.
Maintaining and Preventative Maintenance and Inspections (PMI) of all powered and non-powered equipment associated with ground handling operations. Must be able to record repairs or PMIs on paper and electronically. Must comply with all safety and performance policies established by the company and air carriers.
Facilitate loading and unloading of aircraft and trucks and move freight and packages between inbound and outbound aircraft and trucks through the freight center. The loader will manipulate packages/crates/boxes into and out of containers, aircraft, and trucks. Roll containers from loaded or staging positions to scales and aircraft.
Complete mandated security checks. Clean and stock lavatories and gallies. Vacuum carpets, brush seats, stock literature, clean tray tables. Proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vests, earplugs, and safety behavior.
The job includes scanning, sorting, lifting (up to 70lbs- with assistance) and handling of all mail types that are containerized or non-containerized. All successful candidates will be provided in-depth on-the-job training. Pay range based on benefit options.
Verifies, communicates, and performs record keeping on incoming and outgoing aircraft and trucks.
