Passenger pick-up

Tampa International Airport is expecting higher passenger traffic during the spring travel period. To make your next visit a little easier, please review the following tips before your next visit to the Airport to meet an arriving passenger.

Look before you leave - Check with the airline the status of an arriving flight before coming out to the Airport.

Cell Phone Waiting Lot - It's new and improved! Conveniently located just south of the post office, the Cell Phone Waiting Lot is free of charge.  There is free WiFi, real-time flight information, EV charging stations, restrooms and water bottle-filling stations. Leave the Cell Phone Lot and head to the Main Terminal when your arriving passengers call and are waiting for you at the curbside. Parking and waiting are not allowed at the curbside.

Short Term Parking Garage - Parking under one hour is free.  If you want to go inside the Main Terminal to meet your guests or assist them with luggage and belongings, choose the Short Term Parking Garage and avoid the congestion at the curbside where parking, waiting or leaving vehicles unattended is never allowed.

Animals in the Airport - We love pets, but for the safety of our guests and their animals, only service animals and traveling animals in airline-approved carriers are allowed in the terminal. More information on Animals in the Airport.
