Your Monday Departure Game Plan

5-hour Departure Playbook. 5 hours before, check out from hotel. 4 hours before, make your way to the airport. 3 hours before, check in at your ticket counter if needed. 2 hours before, proceed to the TSA checkpoint. 1 hour before, arrive at gate.

Check your bags – and print your boarding pass – directly from the curbside the day after the Super Bowl.

On Feb. 8 from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m., most TPA passengers will be able to check their luggage and print boarding passes directly from the Blue and Red side Departures curbsides for $5 per airline reservation. The service will be available to passengers aboard American, Delta, Southwest, Spirit and United (domestic flights only).

 

Permitting Information for Ground Transportation Providers

Tampa International Airport, in cooperation with Hillsborough County, has developed a Special Event Operating Program for Limousine Operators during the Super Bowl LV Special Event Period.  Elements of the program provide for the temporary licensing of vehicles and drivers.  To access an application for a special permit, please visit the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Office here.
