Tampa International Airport Parking Tips

Where you park

  • When you park your vehicle at Tampa International Airport, be sure to note the garage, level and closest elevator core to where your vehicle is located. To assist you in finding your vehicle when you return, take a parking reminder card from the box located by the elevator call buttons.

  • The parking level, row and color are also displayed on the sign located above your parking row.

Before leaving the car

  • Take a check around the inside of your vehicle to make sure that all personal items are out of sight. Laptops, iPods, GPS units and even loose change should be hidden from sight or locked in the trunk of the car.

  • Lock your vehicle!

When you return

  • Check to make sure that you are returning to the correct location of your vehicle before boarding the shuttle bus or walking to the garage.

  • Have your keys handy so that you are not distracted when you return to your vehicle.

  • If you cannot locate your vehicle, contact parking operations using the Assistance Phone located at the nearest elevator.

In an emergency

  • In an emergency dial 911. The operator will connect you to the police department for emergency assistance.

  • If you don’t have a cell phone available, or for non-emergency assistance calls, please use the Assistance Phone located by the nearest elevator core. The phones provide immediate access to airport information, parking operations and police.
