He’s the friendly face at the Main Terminal information desks, the guy stopping to help any passenger who looks even slightly lost, the bus driver proudly giving the Airport grand tours.

“There are more things we do than things we don’t do,” Davis said.
Tampa International Airport welcomed a wide range of new local flavors and national brands this week with the grand openings of eight new concessions.
With these new concepts, the Airport has now opened 22 of the 65 shops and restaurants coming to the airport as part of the expansion and concessions overhaul.
(October 6, 2016) Tampa International Airport and Icelandair this week announced upcoming year-round service to Reykjavík, Iceland, adding to the Airport's great run of adding new international flights at TPA.
Flights will begin Sept. 7, 2017, with Icelandair offering two weekly flights to Iceland and connections to more than 25 destinations in Europe.

Growing up on Tampa’s Davis Islands, two blocks from Peter O. Knight Airport, Mark Witt remembers watching planes take off and land and being fascinated with aviation.
“I just thought planes and airports were so interesting and so cool,” Mark said. “I never imagined it was someplace you could work unless you were a pilot.”
