So when officials representing Poznań–Ławica Airport in Poland visited Tampa International Airport on April 18 to learn more about best practices in handling noise abatement and community outreach, TPA was happy to share its experiences, challenges and successes.

The record beat the previous high set in March 2017 by 213,358 passengers – a 10.8 percent jump – and wraps up a busy first six months of fiscal year 2018.

As a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certified owner of a local photography and video production company, he had attended similar TPA-hosted outreach efforts in the past and made connections that led to new clients.
(April 5, 2018) If it’s on a screen, lights up, makes sound or displays digital info anywhere throughout Tampa International Airport, there’s a good chance James Tarro had a hand in it. As TPA’s Audio/Visual Support Technologist, he’s responsible for keeping guests informed, making sure presentations go smoothly and troubleshooting when things go awry.
“It’s a really fun job,” Tarro said. “I get to play with the best of technology.”
(April 3, 2018) Late last month, Tampa International Airport opened a new PDQ and Burger 21 on the airside, bringing two new fast-food joints to TPA’s busiest airside.
With everything from crafted burgers (think ahi tuna and Korean BBQ) to freshly made chicken tenders with a wide variety of homemade sauces, these two concepts give Southwest and Frontier passengers a whole new reason to fly.
