Frontier Airlines to launch daily nonstop flights to St. Louis

September 29, 2015

Frontier Airlines will add a new daily route from Tampa to St. Louis beginning Dec. 19. The low cost carrier will give passengers a new option for travel between the two cities, adding to Southwest Airlines’ existing twice daily service to St. Louis.

With the new route, Frontier has added the most seats of any airline that serves Tampa International Airport in the last year, increasing its seats by 86 percent from 2014 to 2015. Frontier currently offers nonstop service to Cleveland, Denver, Washington Dulles (seasonal), Chicago O’Hare, Philadelphia and Trenton.

The two-and-a-half-hour flight on the A320 aircraft will leave Tampa International Airport at 7:05 p.m. nightly and arrive at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport at 8:35 p.m. Return flights will leave St. Louis at 3:10 p.m. and arrive in Tampa at 6:20 p.m.

Frontier will offer special fares as low as $29 for members of its Discount Den on these new routes and as low as $49 one-way for non-members. To book a flight, go to https://booking.flyfrontier.com.
