Tampa International Airport is an exciting and interesting place to do business. The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority ("Authority") looks forward to working with businesses to provide travelers with world-class amenities and services. The following are examples of the different types of goods and services the Authority competitively solicits:
- Automotive Products and Vehicles
- Communications Equipment
- Equipment and Supplies
- Janitorial and Cleaning Products
- Office Supplies and Equipment
- Maintenance and Repair
The first step in seeking business opportunities with the Authority is to register as a supplier through the Supplier Registration Database. Registration is a simple, online process. One of the primary benefits is the opportunity to elect to receive automated notification e-mails of Authority solicitations and contract opportunities when advertised.
In addition to being used by the Authority to notify suppliers of business opportunities, the Supplier Registration Database is used to obtain pricing for goods and services and collect basic information on potential suppliers to facilitate greater supplier diversity. The database also can be used by businesses seeking to partner with each other as prime contractors or subcontractors.
Information provided by suppliers in registering with the Supplier Registration Database, with the exception of Federal Identification Numbers or Foreign Tax Identification Numbers, will be accessible by the public. A supplier's Taxpayer Identification Number or Foreign Tax Identification Number is used as a unique identifier and is not viewable by public users of the database. For this purpose, "Foreign" is defined as a business which is incorporated under the laws of a nation other than the United States.
