Airport Police

TPA’s fully accredited law enforcement agency oversees public safety and security for tens of thousands of visitors and employees each day. 

With more than 140 sworn officers, traffic specialists and support personnel, the Tampa International Airport Police Department provides traditional law enforcement services in addition to enforcing federal regulations associated with transportation security. The award-winning TPAPD is accredited through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation Inc. and handles services ranging from Special Investigations to K9 needs to Lost and Found.
