Brenda S. Geoghagan was promoted to the Director of Public Information and Community Relations in 1996. This position is responsible for the development, planning and implementation of programs designed to promote the interest of the Aviation Authority and to keep the general public, media and special interest groups informed of the Aviation Authority’s activities. Additionally, she is the Airport Public Art Coordinator and a member of the Florida Association of Public Art Administrators.

She is a 1998 Leadership Tampa graduate and past chairman (2007) of Leadership Tampa Alumni.

Current memberships of interest: the Public Relations Society of America, Tampa Chapter; Public Safety and Law Enforcement Public Information Officers network for the Tampa Bay area, Westshore Alliance Public Art Committee and the Airports Council International Marketing & Communications committee.
